It’s very simple. When you join the HypnoShop.com affiliate program you will be assigned a unique affiliate ID. You will be given access to various marketing tools, such as text links and banners and your affiliate ID will be automatically built into the code. You can then put these links or banners on your website. When a visitor to your website clicks on any of the links to HypnoShop.com and then goes on to place an order on our website you will earn a commission of the sale. It’s as simple as that.

Just complete the short online application form. This involves giving details about your website and your contact information. We also ask you read and accept our terms and conditions. We will then email you once your application has been reviewed, and we aim to do this within 48 hours - usually much sooner.

Yes. To become a HypnoShop.com affiliate, you must have a website which we are able to view. If you are going to use more than one website to promote HypnoShop.com, then we also ask you tell us about these too, upon joining.

We evaluate every application in good faith and will notify you of your acceptance or rejection. Our products appeal to a wide range of people and cover many different topics so there is a good chance you'll be able to join provided your website has complementary content and visitor demographics.

When you sign up you should receive an automated email with your details. Then once we review your application (usually within 48 hours) you'll be sent a personal email either welcoming you to the program, or giving reasons for why we've not accepted you. Either way, you'll be sent an email from us. Whether you receive the email(s) is another question as you should be aware that emails are not 100% reliable, particularly if you use certain email providers such as AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, Comcast, etc. So please ensure you enter the correct email address, and preferably use a provider other than the 4 listed here. If you haven't received a reply from us then please email us using a different email address, which will hopefully accept our reply. If possible provide us with a couple of alternatives so we can increase the chances of you hearing from us.

If you've forgotten your password then please visit the login page and enter your username beneath the 'forgot your password?' question. Your password will then be sent to the email address you registered with.

Once you have been accepted as an affiliate, you will be given access to your own affiliate area. Your account information can be modified by clicking on the 'Edit Your Details' link from within the main menu.

Every HypnoShop.com link you place on your website will contain your unique affiliate ID. Every time a visitor to your website clicks on one of your HypnoShop.com links, and then makes an order, you will earn commission.

We pay affiliates a generous 40% commission on each sale, after sales tax. Sales tax only applies to orders from European Union (EU) countries. Please also note that commission is not earned on any shipping costs for CD orders.

All orders from countries within the European Union (EU) are subject to a sales tax of 17.5%. This amount is included in the total sale price, and is therefore deducted from us before paying any commission on the order. All orders outside of the EU are tax free, which means you'll receive slightly more for these orders than those within the EU.

We manually approve each commission. We aim to do this well within 24 hours. However commissions which have yet to be approved will appear in the 'commissions report' area under 'commissions pending approval' section. These are updated in real time and once we have approved the commission it is automatically moved to the 'current commission' section and is clearly shown in your account.

Being a UK company our website was originally priced in UK Pound Sterling (GBP), but for the last year or so we've been trading as a multi currency website, and we operate in 3 different currencies; UK Pound Sterling, US dollars, and Euros. The price displayed to each visitor is dependent upon their location. We have found this to be an excellent way of increasing conversions because our two biggest markets are the UK and the USA - and we can provide visitors from both places the currency they are most comfortable with. The affiliate program software can only operate in a single currency and our base currency is GBP, and this is what commissions will be shown as in the affiliate area. Any orders made in US dollars or Euros are automatically converted to GBP before being displayed in the affiliate area. We do our best to keep the exchange rate as close as possible. You earn commissions on all transactions generated by your visitors when they visit HypnoShop.com via the links we provide you with. Unfortunately you do not earn commissions on transactions completed offline (for example, phone or mail order) as they cannot be accurately tracked. However please be aware that over 99% of all our orders are made online via the website and we encourage people to use the website to place their order.

If you refer someone to HypnoShop.com they may not buy straight away. However if they revisit HypnoShop.com within 365 days then you will still be credited with the sale, unless they have since visited another affiliate site (see next question).

In such cases, the affiliate website that was the last to send the visitor to HypnoShop.com is credited with the commission.

Any commission earned from sales which are later refunded by us to the customer shall be deducted from your affiliate account (any refund will appear as a minus credit). We offer a 90 day money back guarantee on our products, so occasionally refunds do occur. Obviously we cannot pay affiliates for orders which are later refunded by us. Since refunds and chargeback's are quite rare, we monitor our affiliate accounts closely and any affiliates who have a high number of refunds shall be subject to possible suspension from our program.

It's in our interests to keep our affiliates happy. We're looking for a good long term relationship with all our affiliates, based on trust. We're an established business and leaders in the market we're in. We have been running a successful affiliate program for many years now. And remember that we provide the order number for each commission, so if you ever wanted to test us then you could do, easily. We're happy to be tested if it ensures peace of mind for our affiliates.

Yes. You can also earn 10% commission on all money paid out to affiliates who were recruited to our affiliate program via clicking on your affiliate links. This is known as 2nd tier commission. For example, a website owner who joins the HypnoShop.com affiliate program after clicking on one of your affiliate links is assigned as your sub-affiliate. Whenever this sub-affiliate generates commission from their own sales, you will be paid 10% of whatever we pay to them.

Yes, the montly payment limit is set at 10 GBP minimum (approx $15-$20). Total commissions less than this amount roll over until you reach the minimum payment limit.

Payments are made to affiliates once a month, generally on the 15th of the month, apart from weekends and national holidays.

We pay affiliates via PayPal. We recommend you open a PayPal account if you don’t have one already. It is free, quick, and easy to do. Visit http://www.PayPal.com for more information.

All payment information can be located in the payments section of your affiliate account - under 'payment history'. Within this section you can view a report which details the commissions which contributed to the payment. We recommend you print these reports and keep for your own records. You will also be notified by email after any payment.

This all depends on how many quality visitors you send to HypnoShop.com. Our website has a high conversion rate of visitors to customers, so the more quality visitors you send, the more you will earn. The quality of the visitors is the most important. If you think your visitors would be interested in our products then your earnings will obviously be higher than random visitors.

It is very easy to add links to your website. Simply login to your affiliate account and from the menu select 'Your Linking Code'. On this page will be your main text link which sends visitors direct to the HypnoShop.com home page. Also on this page is the special links for all our product pages, which is good if you want to link direct to a specific page on our site. Alternatively you can use our 'HTML Product Table' to quickly copy/paste a list of all our products directly onto your website. You don't need any technical knowledge, it is as simple as copying and pasting.

You should place links where they are easy for your site visitors to find such as your homepage, your navigation bar or any other high traffic areas. We also recommend you create some fresh content to direct visitors to HypnoShop.com - such as your own articles or reviews, rather than just adding a couple of text links and hoping they'll be clicked on.

If you have an opt-in mailing list then by all means email them information about HypnoShop.com. This is an excellent form of promotion. However please do not send unsolicited emails which might be considered spam. Any affiliate who participates in campaigns considered by us as spam will have their affiliate account terminated. We hate spam as much as a anyone and don't want to be associated with it.

Feel free to put as many links to HypnoShop.com on your site as you like! We recommend you use our 'HTML Product Table' which lists all our products in one neat table. All it takes is a quick copy/paste, and it'll be on your website within minutes.

The use of HypnoShop.com materials other than those provided to affiliates in the affiliate area is forbidden, except as agreed in writing (including email) between the parties - other than some images (see next question). The content on our site is unique and must remain this way. We don't want to have hundreds of other sites with the same content as this is looked down upon by the search engines and is regarded as duplicate content. It won't do us any good, and it certainly won't do your website any good so please do not copy any content direct from the HypnoShop.com website. We do regular checks (manual and automated) and if you copy any content from our site without express permission then we will terminate your affiliate agreement.

In the affiliate area we will provide you with some content which you can use, such as some selective articles (different articles than those that appear on the HypnoShop.com website) and other pieces of content from time to time. You can freely use this content on your website to promote HypnoShop.com and to increase your commissions. We also strongly recommend you create your own unique content. Search engines love fresh and unique content, and the best affiliates create their own content on a regular basis - to increase traffic to their website, and in turn, generate more commissions.

If you are an affiliate then you may use certain images from the HypnoShop.com website, such as product images. Such use of images may only be used to promote HypnoShop.com. If you're in any doubt about what you can and cannot use, please contact us - we're here to help!

You are more than welcome to run your own Pay-Per-Click (PPC) marketing campaigns. However there have been some major changes on some PPC platforms recently, which limit what you can do as an affiliate. For example, Google AdWords is the major player in the PPC industry and they will show only one AdWords ad that directs the user to a particular domain. This includes URLs that redirect to the same domain. Google are also able to detect ‘affiliate bridge pages’, pages which entice the user to go to a merchant's site (such as HypnoShop.com), without adding any original content whatsoever.

Since we run our own in house PPC campaigns you are advised to not run your own PPC that links directly to HypnoShop.com. However, we recommend this type of marketing and suggest you direct visitors to your website, where you have hopefully added some unique content, and then in turn you can promote HypnoShop.com.
