Many hypnotherapists follow a set script in one to one sessions, but I work a bit differently than other hypnotherapists. There is no ‘usual’ way in which I interact with people; everyone is unique so my response to each person is unique.

Rapport, to me, is the feelings between two people that they are able to get along and that they are kind of on the same wavelength. It’s the key to any effective communication, really.

Hypnoanalysis is a type of therapy that occurs in one-to-one hypnosis sessions, not in hypnosis recordings. You see, the aim of hypnoanalysis is to locate the root cause of a problem or symptom through formal or informal regression techniques.

When it comes to hypnosis, one on one therapy certainly has its benefits. However, one of the advantages of recorded self-hypnosis sessions is the ability to listen as often as you like. Hypnotherapy works because deep relaxation allows the unconscious to be more open to suggestion.
