So what is confidence and where does it come from? If you’ve been confident in the past it sure hasn’t left you, but it might feel as though it has. Remember that everything we’ve ever experienced is recorded in our inner computer, which means that if we had confidence, we can get that confidence back! It hasn’t left our being; it just sometimes feels as though it has.
Just because you didn’t feel confident in the past doesn’t mean that you can’t begin to learn how to develop confidence. Confidence is a feeling and feelings are generated by our thoughts and our creative imagination. As you continue to develop your imagination, you can continue to develop feelings of confidence in yourself and the world around you.
Often we want to feel confident carrying out certain behaviours. Sometimes we want to feel more confident in a certain context. So sometimes confidence is about a feeling at a certain time or a place.
When we use hypnosis to help develop self confidence we can often be working in the past present or future. This coupled with our imagination gives us all the tools that we need to change things for the better.
Yet again, creative hypnotic relaxation and your imagination is the key to successful change. We’ve all had times in the past when we’ve felt confident doing a certain thing, we can tap into this energy and these feelings and begin to carry them forward to where and when we want to feel them now.
