Following our Self-Hypnosis Guidelines
The hypnosis/hypnotherapy guidelines we have provided are in place so that you have a safe and comfortable experience, listening to your specific self-hypnosis CD. Often people will not bother reading instructions or leave them until afterwards, please do read them for your own benefit – we do have your personal interests at heart. At the back of every self-hypnosis CD is the following:-
1. Only listen to this self-hypnosis CD when you can safely relax, without being disturbed:-
The whole essence of being able to relax is to find your own space. The last thing you need is to be disturbed right when you are getting the most from the positive hypnosis suggestions. So please make sure you are in a place where you can listen to the hypnosis CD or hypnosis MP3 right from the start to finish.
I do recommend you use headphones – this cuts out distractions and helps you to concentrate much better. However, if there is lots of background noise, it would be difficult for anyone to really relax.
The same goes for being in a safe place – maybe you will make sure the house door is locked and you are sitting in as comfortable a position as possible, for you.
2. Please listen to the hypnosis CD or MP3 download every day for the first week. We then suggest you listen to this hypnosis session every other day for the next three weeks. Then just listen to it from time to time when you wish to benefit from complete hypnotic relaxation:-
Basically, what you need to do is jump start your own inner strengths and strategies using the self-hypnosis CD. This is achieved by listening to the positive suggestions every day for the first week. The following week, I suggest every other day, simply because you have made a start and your process of change has begun – it just needs a little reminder.
Now, as you begin to use part of your personality you either haven’t used in a long time; or, that you were not even aware you had already in place, notice the changes. You see, what we are doing is drawing your own strengths and bringing them into play, within your life, to get the most out of your life.
3. At times you will hear more than one voice talking. don’t try and consciously understand what is being said as your unconscious mind will do all the positive work on your behalf:-
As you are probably already aware, we have a conscious mind and an unconscious mind. Sometimes our conscious mind can be so good at trying to work things out and logic our way out of problems; it prevents our unconscious from simplifying things and from being given the chance to really get to work on solving and promoting your true potential. So, from time to time, what better way than to give your conscious mind something to do; like listening to a positively worded metaphorical story; whilst at the same time, feeding your unconscious with the results you really want to achieve.
4. Just relax and let go, and allow yourself to enjoy the benefits of your creative relaxation session:-
This is self explanatory – why not enjoy yourself – this time is for you and you have decided you’re worth it by choosing to make these positive changes.
WARNING: Do not listen to this hypnosis CD whilst driving or operating machinery. Do not use this product if you suffer from epilepsy, clinical depression, or any other nervous or psychiatric condition. If in doubt please consult your doctor.
