Homework / Exams and Hypnosis

Have you every stood back and watched the queue of people outside of a room waiting to go into an exam? Even adults, stand their dry mouthed, fidgeting, looking for pens and pencils, making silly nervous jokes to each other. You know, sometimes, that feeling is carried all through the exam and affects the whole result of the test mark. Shame really, because I imagine that person knows so much more than the nervousness will allow space for.

Hypnosis can be useful to help the person focus more of their energy on the answering of questions, than on the nervousness. This works by dealing with the nervousness at a deeper unconscious level; reassuring that part of us, everything is alright.

As an adult, the deeper part of the mind, the unconscious, may be programmed to behave in a nervous way at the start of an exam because that is what it has always done. It may be that in the past exams have not been a true reflection of how good you really are. It may be in the past the person has failed at exams and expects to fail this time now, thus creating the anxiety and worry before the event.

Working with hypnosis to deal with obstacles such as this, can help us focus more attention on the areas needed, once the root of the cause has been cleared, we can get on with answering questions and writing enough information to get better results.

See our exam success hypnosis recording for more information. We also have one to help in your overall studies, called studying success. Let hypnosis help you achieve your academic goals!
