We recommend you follow these three main steps for self hypnosis success, and they are as follows:
Step One – Choose a Time & Place.
Choose a safe place to listen to your self hypnosis session. Choose somewhere where you can relax without being disturbed for 20-25 minutes. Many people like to listen to our self hypnosis sessions before bedtime – but everyone is different.
Step Two – Listen, Relax, Enjoy.
Put on some headphones (highly recommended) and lay back and listen to the session. Just relax and let go, trying not to think consciously of what is being said. Your unconscious (subconscious) mind will do all the positive work on your behalf.
Step Three – Repeated Listening
Repeated listening - We recommend you listen to the self hypnosis recording everyday for the first week. We then suggest you listen every other day for the following three weeks for maximum positive benefit.
Why should I use hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis has been used for centuries and has been put to many great uses, helping millions of people to stop smoking, lose weight, and conquer fears and phobias. Positive thoughts breed positive actions which bring positive success. That's exactly how hypnotherapy works, installing new feelings of well-being. Since hypnosis is accessing the creative unconscious part of the mind, there is no resistance in accepting positive suggestions. Therefore the treatment can be much more effective, and with much quicker results, than with those achieved by psychotherapy alone.
How and why does hypnotherapy bring positive results?
The hypnotic induction technique used in our hypnosis sessions is a progressive relaxation procedure. By simply listening to the recording you will become progressively more and more relaxed. All the tension and stress is eliminated from your body, and as your body relaxes so too does your mind.
The deep relaxation process will distract the conscious part of your mind, and while this happens, positive suggestions are given directly to the creative unconscious part of the mind. Since the doorway to the unconscious mind is now open, it is much more receptive to the information it needs to change the unwanted experience or behaviour you want to stop.
When you're in a state of creative hypnotic relaxation, you will be given what are called 'post hypnotic suggestions' and follow visual techniques that can really help you to bring positive changes to your life. Post hypnotic suggestions are those that you act upon when out of hypnosis, such as feeling more self confident, determined to lose weight or to quit smoking forever.

When listening to your self hypnosis session you will often hear more than one voice at a time. This helps distract your conscious mind from what is being said, and positively compounds the overall effect.
How long is each self hypnosis session?
The length of each self hypnosis session varies, but the hypnotherapy session is usually between 20-25 minutes. Since our self hypnosis sessions have more than one voice at a time, we can pack in more of the actual therapy than other hypnosis sessions, some of which have a longer length. Therefore, you don't have to spend any more time listening than is necessary to gain the positive effects in your life. When should I listen to my self hypnosis session?
You can listen to your self hypnosis session anytime you like except when driving or operating machinery. A good time to listen to your hypnotherapy session is before bedtime. You can then fall asleep after listening. In fact you may even fall asleep whilst listening to the session, which is perfectly fine. You should also make sure that you won't be unnecessarily disturbed when you listen to your hypnosis session. It is important that you allow yourself to have 20-25 minutes in a safe place with peace and quiet.
How long will it be before I notice results from my hypnotherapy sessions?
This depends entirely on you because people are unique and respond to hypnosis in different ways. You will respond in a way that is appropriate for you. Some people will notice a positive shift after just a few of our hypnotherapy sessions. For other people it may take a while longer. Therefore we suggest you listen to each hypnotherapy session at least once every other day for the first thirty days. By doing this you will condition your mind for positive change. After this initial thirty days you should listen to the self hypnosis session if you feel the need. You will probably enjoy the creative hypnotic relaxation so much that you will want to continue to benefit by listening regularly.
Each time you listen to your self hypnosis session you will reach a deeper level of creative hypnotic relaxation (sometimes referred to as a trance state). Our hypnosis sessions are designed to easily guide you into gentle, safe, hypnotic relaxation.
Will it still work if I decide to purchase more than one hypnotherapy session?
Yes, you can combine different hypnotherapy sessions. For example, if you want to develop more self confidence and lose weight, then you could listen to the self confidence hypnosis session and the slim & trim hypnosis session on alternative days. Or you could listen to both hypnosis sessions on the same day if you wish to really benefit fully.
